The Catalyst
In January 2019 the Univeristy had a visit from Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal who came to open our stunning new £26 Million Catalyst building. The brand new Catalyst building has become an instant second home for most students who study at Edge Hill University. The stunning building provides almost every service imaginable to students and if you are planning to study at Edge Hill you will spend a serious amount of time here.
The innovative building, at the heart of Edge Hill’s campus, houses the library, careers and student services functions in its contemporary 8,000-square metre space. Facilities include:
- Networked PCs and wireless access
- Access to 200,000 items including books and audiovisual resources
- Printing and photocopying
- Bookable group rooms and collaborative spaces
- Dedicated silent study floor
- A range of study areas – group work, quiet study and silent study
- Access to help and support
Parking on Campus
We try to manage our parking spaces fairly. Only members of staff and registered students may apply for a parking permit and eligibility criteria applies based on the distance traveled and the availability of public transport. Unlike other Univeristies parking on campus is free of charge. Car Parks for permit holders can be found dotted around campus for the convenience of Students & staff.
